Every page was written through the lens of EMDR therapy, a method that helped me process deeply buried pain, dissociation, and childhood violence. I wrote this book while I was actively in trauma therapy — not after healing, but in the thick of it. It was raw, revealing, and necessary.
I wanted to tell the truth — not just about what happened to me, but what it feels like to live with Complex PTSD and walk the slow, nonlinear path of healing. If you're reading this and carrying something heavy, I want you to know: you're not alone.
